Job Description
Responsible for day to day implementation of environmental quality control inspection throughout the Client Company construction project. The Environmental Inspector is the primary interface with the customer to ensure proper implementation of technical and construction specifications and project requirements.
Primary Functions:
As an Environmental, Erosion and Sediment (E&S) Control and Compliance Inspector, you will perform on-site environmental, E&S control and compliance inspections associated with natural gas or liquids pipeline, and facility construction projects. You will work directly with the Client Company and their construction contractor; while reporting on a daily basis with the Client Company project manager. Additional responsibilities may include supervising, managing, and coordinating with other inspectors. You will prepare daily field reports and/or weekly inspection reports for completeness and provide copies to the project manager. In addition, you will be responsible to observe and document the installation of E&S Controls, and potentially provide guidance regarding the proper installation of new E&S controls in accordance with the approved E&S plan, applicable regulations, permit requirements, specifications, and commitments. You will be responsible to troubleshoot, remediate, and provide guidance on environmental issues encountered in the field.
Independently conduct site inspections, which will include weekly and post runoff event inspections. Field work will require working in inclement weather, on weekends and potentially holidays.
